Perico, Jujuy
Los Lapachos, a warm welcome on a sugarcane farm
Only fifteen kilometers from Jujuy airport, forty–six from its capital and ninety from the city of Salta, Los Lapachos is the strategic location from which to explore all the remote corners of Northen Argentina.
This farm produces sugarcane, beans, tobacco, wheat and peaches and is an ideal place to learn about rural work in North Argentina, ride a horse, play tennis, bird-watch, or simply relax in its swimming pool, gardens or patios.
Richard and Caroline Leach, will share with you their experiences of living and working on their farm. Homemade bread and jams for breakfast and candlelight dinners are touches which show the hospitable warmth of its owners.
Thanks to its excellent location, day excursions from Los Lapachos can be arranged to the Humahuaca Canyon, named a World Heritage Site, the Salt Flats and Susques, Calilegua National Park, the lakes at Yala or a sugar mill, among other options
